Technical Manager, Field Based - ref:TMF

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced professionals in the field of EOD and/or de-mining for a variety of project opportunities worldwide.

Successful applicants should possess the following:

• A range of de-mining experience to include mechanical and manual clearance tasks and/or management of mine detection/explosive detection dog teams or survey tasks
• IMAS Level 3 or 4 EOD qualifications
• Ability to plan and implement all the client issued task orders
• Report writing skills to produce clear and concise technical reports
• Familiarity with technical equipment
• Ability to work precisely to and develop technical manual procedures and standards
• Personnel and training skills in order to source and hire local nationals, devise and implement their training programmes and identify individuals suitable for promotion
• Ability to organise the structure of work teams to meet the client's needs and prepare all technical staff for QA accreditation prior to live work
• Crisis management skills in order to deal with casualty, first aid and evacuation scenarios
• Health, safety and security awareness to ensure work sites are safe and secure

A minimum of three years relevant field operations, with experience of living and working in remote and hazardous conditions, is essential.
