Albania
MineTech's technical experts assisted in training local military personnel
in the safe storage and transport of explosive equipment on behalf of NATO's
Partnership for Peace programme. This included technical and safety support to the UN
Managed Weapons for Development project, ground preparation for demining surveys and investigating
the need for an integrated mine action report.
Bosnia & Herzegovina
Mine detecting dog teams were used together with manual mine/UXO clearance teams
for a World Bank funded project. Training of local demining teams was undertaken, followed by technical supervision
of manual clearance.
Croatia
MineTech's manual clearance teams supported UN/CROMAC managed demining programmes.
   Kosovo
Community mine awareness and Level 1 surveys in support of refugee resettlement
and construction programmes were carried out as part of MIneTech's comprehensive
approach to rebuilding communities.
Macedonia
MineTech supplied Mine Detection Dogs and manual teams to search for
and clear mines and UXO near the border with Kosovo.
The Netherlands
Technical consultancy was supplied to evaluate the risks to a geophysical survey programme from ammunition dumped
offshore post World War 2.
Turkey
Security support to an oil exploration program was established in the eastern areas of Turkey.
United Kingdom
Level 2 survey and clearance of ranges in Wales and the south coast of
England was undertaken in advance of surveys.
MineTech consultancy services were provided to the Overseas
Development Agency to advise on technical issues regarding global demining
programmes. This included security and risk assessment surveys for
organisations planning on sending personnel to post conflict or high risk
countries.
Technical support was provided to an underwater survey program to
identify World War 2 mines that could impede the laying of a pipeline.
A further underwater survey was also undertaken of a range impact area to
identify UXO for a possible oil drilling project.
