Second Canadian acquisition for Exploration Logistics

Remote site medical and safety specialist, Exploration Logistics Group plc has acquired Calgary-based Avalon HSE in a move that reinforces the UK company's presence in Canada. It will enable the expansion of the specialist HSE service Avalon currently delivers to oil and gas operations in Canada, to support an international market.

The acquisition is a further key move for Exploration Logistics in Canada, having established a Calgary office through acquisition last year. Avalon HSE provides Health, Safety and Environmental services to the oil and gas industry across Canada, helping organisations meet their corporate health and safety goals. As well as strengthening Exploration Logistics' ability to support the North American market, Chief Executive, Mike Jaques believes the acquisition of Avalon HSE is an important development, expanding the organisation's range of global services.
